Last night, President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed the world’s top technology leaders to the White House. The focus of the evening was artificial intelligence (AI) and how America can lead the way in this fast-changing field.

The Trump Administration has already launched the AI Action Plan — a strategy to build new infrastructure, support innovation, and keep the U.S. ahead in global competition. The First Lady is also pushing for stronger AI education so students are ready for tomorrow’s opportunities.

The Three Big Goals (or “Pillars”)

1. Accelerating Innovation
The plan focuses on removing unnecessary rules that slow down AI development. By cutting red tape, it encourages fresh ideas and helps AI grow faster. It also supports open-source AI models, which allow people to share knowledge and build on each other’s work. Another key goal is making sure AI tools are used fairly and that they respect free speech.

2. Building AI Infrastructure
AI isn’t just software — it needs strong foundations like power, data centers, and advanced computer chips. The plan speeds up building energy grids, data centers, and chip factories here in the United States. It also highlights the importance of training workers with the new skills they’ll need to keep up with these growing industries.

3. Leading in Global AI Diplomacy & Security
The plan makes it clear that America wants to set the global standard for AI. That means encouraging other nations to use U.S. technology and follow U.S. rules. It also focuses on keeping powerful AI tools out of the hands of rival countries and potential enemies. At the same time, the U.S. will strengthen partnerships with friendly nations while carefully managing AI safety, exports, and security.

More Details

The AI Action Plan lays out more than 90 steps for government agencies. These include speeding up building permits, handling exports more effectively, updating old rules, and expanding infrastructure projects.

Earlier in January 2025, President Trump signed an executive order called “Removing Barriers to American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence.” This order required the government to create the Action Plan within 180 days and to clear away outdated policies that were slowing AI progress.

The plan also created a new agency, the Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI), which will test AI systems in areas like cybersecurity and biosecurity. Its job is to make sure AI technology is safe and protected from national threats.

Overall, the plan puts private companies at the front of innovation — building chips, data centers, and AI tools — while the government provides support, clears barriers, and ensures the U.S. stays the global leader.

Big-name tech leaders — from Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Oracle, and AMD — all praised the Administration’s leadership. They said America is now in the best position to build powerful new tools, strengthen businesses, and create jobs.

1. Tim Cook – Apple

I want to thank you for setting the tone such that we could make a major $600 billion investment in the United States and have some key advanced manufacturing here. That says a lot about your focus and leadership.”

2. Satya Nadella – Microsoft

“Thank you so much for bringing us all together… the trust the world has in American technology is perhaps the most important issue — and your policies are really helping a lot.”

3. Sundar Pichai – Google / Alphabet

The AI moment is one of the most transformative moments of our lifetimes, and your Administration’s AI Action Plan is a great start.

4. Sergey Brin – Google co-founder

“It’s a real incredible inflection point in AI, and the fact that your Administration is supporting our companies instead of fighting with them is hugely important.

5. Mark Zuckerberg – Meta (Facebook)

“This is quite a group to get together — we’re making huge investments in the country to build data centers and infrastructureat least $600 billion through 2028.”

6. Sam Altman – OpenAI

“Thank you for being such a pro-business, pro-innovation President. It’s very refreshing. The investment happening here will set us up for long-term success.

7. Greg Brockman – OpenAI

We’ve been very impressed with how this Administration has embraced AI. Choosing optimism has made a huge difference.”

8. Safra Catz – Oracle

AI is going to change everything — and you recognized this right away. You’ve unleashed American innovation and creativity.”

9. Lisa Su – AMD

The incredible work your Administration has done to support the semiconductor industry… the acceleration we’ve seen in just a few months is amazing.”

But here’s the part we can’t miss: AI may be smart, but it will never replace humans.

AI can sort information fast, run machines, and even help doctors catch diseases early. But AI can’t love, it can’t feel, it can’t create life, and it can’t carry God’s image. Machines may handle tasks, but only people can bring true creativity, compassion, and moral wisdom.

Therefore,  customer service that have chatbots, should have a human monitoring it.

That’s why this partnership between government and private industry matters. The technology is important, yes, but even more important is making sure humans stay at the center — guided by faith, family, and values.

President Trump and First Lady Melania are setting the tone: invest in the future, but never forget that America’s greatest resource isn’t machines, it’s people.

What’s the big picture? America’s top tech leaders agree: AI will change everything, from the way we work to the way we live. And under President Trump’s leadership, they believe the U.S. is positioned not just to compete—but to win.

The message was clear: When government and private industry work together, America can lead the world into the future of technology.

Imagine this: every baby born in America between 2025 and 2028 can get a special savings account called a Trump Account.

How it Works

  • When a baby is born, the government puts $1,000 in the account right away.

  • Parents can add more money, up to $5,000 a year.

  • Jobs can also help by adding up to $2,500 a year, and the family won’t have to pay taxes on that money.

Why It’s Cool

This money isn’t just sitting there. It’s invested in the stock market, which means it can grow over time.

Here’s what that could look like:

  • If parents and jobs add the max every year, a baby born in 2026 could have $303,800 by age 18 🎉 and over $1 million by age 28! 💰

  • Even if no one adds anything, the free $1,000 could grow to $5,800 by age 18 and $18,100 by age 28.

What It Means

Trump Accounts are like planting a money tree for kids. 🌱 The earlier you plant and water it (by adding money), the bigger it grows. By the time these kids are adults, they could have a strong start for school, a house, or even starting a business.

It’s one big, beautiful way to help kids dream bigger and build brighter futures.

,

President Trump and his team say they want to clean up America’s “money house” by stopping government spending that is wasteful, unfair, or harmful to our country. For the first time in 50 years, the President is using a special law called the Impoundment Control Act to cancel $5 billion that was going to foreign aid (money sent to other countries) and international groups.

This is called a pocket rescission—basically, the President’s way of saying, “Nope, we’re not paying for that anymore.”

What Was the Money Being Spent On?

A lot of the money was going to projects that many Americans feel don’t help our country. Instead, they say the money was used for programs that are wasteful, political, or don’t match America’s values. Here are some examples:

1. USAID Development Assistance – $3.2 billion

This account gave money to projects in other countries, but many were unusual or not helpful to American taxpayers. For example:

Millions of dollars for “climate change” projects in other countries.

Money for “listening tours” in tiny countries most Americans have never heard of.

Projects like baking classes or beauty therapy to support other countries.

Instead of helping people learn to be independent, these programs often just gave handouts. Money that Americans could use.

2. Democracy Fund – $322 million

This account was supposed to “promote democracy.” But some of the projects supported ideas many Americans disagree with, such as:

Funding groups that published articles attacking certain races.

Spending millions to push programs overseas.

Supporting projects that meddle in other countries’ elections.

3. International Organizations – $521 million

This was U.S. money sent to big global groups like the United Nations and others. But some of these groups don’t support America’s interests. Examples include:

$75 million for UNESCO, which has a history of being anti-Israel.

$29 million to the World Trade Organization, which often sides with other countries.

$107 million to a group that tries to unionize foreign workers, even if it hurts U.S. businesses.

4. UN Peacekeeping – $393 million

The U.S. has paid a lot for United Nations peacekeeping missions. But many of them failed or were linked to serious problems, like:

Peacekeepers being accused of crimes and even abuse in poor countries.

Missions in other countries that didn’t stop violence or coups (when the military takes over a government).

Billions spent with little proof of real peace or success.

5. Other Peacekeeping Operations – $445 million

More money was going to train and equip other countries’ militaries. But again, the results often didn’t last. For example:

Millions were given to the military in other countries that are interested in overthrowing its government.

Money was spent on equipment for peacekeepers in other countries.

Hundreds of millions went to other countries for piracy and violence continue.

Why This Matters

President Trump’s decision means that instead of wasting billions of dollars on projects that don’t help Americans, the money will stay here at home. The administration says this is part of putting America First—making sure taxpayer dollars are used wisely and for the benefit of our own country.

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the President signed two important laws to help veterans. Veterans are people who served in the military, and these laws are designed to make sure they get the care and support they deserve.

The first law is called the PRO Veterans Act of 2025. This law makes the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) give updates to Congress every few months about money and resources. It also starts a new Veterans Experience Office to make it easier for veterans to get the help they need. Some rules for top VA employees were also changed to make sure the system is fair.

The second law is called the ACES Act of 2025. This law makes the VA work with scientists to study cancers in veterans who flew airplanes during their service. The goal is to find out how common these cancers are and how to help veterans stay healthy.

These laws are very important because they protect veterans, improve their services, and help keep them healthy. By keeping track of money, improving VA services, and studying health risks, the government is making sure veterans are cared for the way they deserve.

,

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the President signed a new law called H.R. 1316, also called the “Maintaining American Superiority by Improving Export Control Transparency Act.” This law makes sure that the government keeps track of important products that are sent to other countries. Some products can be used for regular business, but they can also be used for defense and security. These are called dual-use items.

Some examples of these products are computers, drones, satellites, special software, chemicals, and high-tech sensors. By keeping track of these items, the law helps protect America and make sure products don’t end up in the wrong hands. It also helps American businesses follow the rules and trade safely with other countries.

This law is important because it keeps Americans safe, helps our country stay strong, and makes sure our products are used the right way. It’s a smart step for keeping America safe while still helping businesses grow.

The United States and the European Union have made a new trade deal called the Framework Agreement on Reciprocal, Fair, and Balanced Trade. This deal is designed to make trade between the U.S. and Europe stronger, fairer, and better for everyone. For Americans, this deal brings many benefits. Farmers and businesses in the U.S. will be able to sell more products in Europe, including nuts, pork, seafood, fruits, vegetables, dairy, and even lobster. When American companies sell more goods overseas, they often need to hire more workers, which creates new jobs and helps communities grow. European companies are also planning to invest billions of dollars in U.S. industries like technology, energy, and manufacturing. This brings even more jobs and strengthens the economy.

The deal also helps energy and technology businesses. The European Union will buy American natural gas, oil, nuclear energy, and $40 billion worth of computer chips, which supports U.S. companies and encourages innovation. Defense companies in the U.S. will benefit too, because Europe plans to buy more military and defense equipment, helping America’s allies stay strong and safe.

This trade agreement also makes rules fairer for businesses on both sides. It protects small and medium-sized businesses from unfair treatment, ensures that U.S. products meet European standards without being blocked, and works to prevent unfair competition from other countries. The deal even focuses on important issues like labor rights, environmental protection, and digital trade, making sure trade is safe, responsible, and fair.

Overall, this trade deal is meant to create more jobs, stronger businesses, better trade opportunities, and safer rulesfor Americans while building a stronger partnership with Europe. It shows how working together with other countries can make life better for businesses, workers, and families across the United States.

The Farm Bill is coming up for a big update in 2025. You might hear the word “farm” and think it’s only about tractors, crops, and country life. But this bill is much bigger than that.

It’s actually one of the most powerful laws in America. It covers farming, food programs, and even the environment. In other words, it has a direct impact on your daily life.

What Is the Farm Bill?

Every five years, Congress writes the Farm Bill. It sets the rules for how money is spent in farming and food.

It includes farm subsidies, which are payments to farmers when crop prices drop too low. It funds food aid programslike SNAP (food stamps), which help millions of Americans put food on the table.

It also supports conservation projects to protect soil, water, and wildlife.

Think of it as the playbook for how America grows food, feeds families, and takes care of the land.

What’s New in 2025?

This time around, Republicans are pushing for two big changes.

First, they want more money for farmers. When crop prices fall, farmers lose money. The government gives them a safety net called “price supports.” Republicans want to raise these supports so farmers are better protected from market swings.

Second, they want tighter rules on food aid. Most of the Farm Bill’s budget goes to SNAP. Republicans are calling for “cost-neutrality,” which means not letting the program grow much larger. That could mean stricter rules on who qualifies or how much help families receive.

Why So Many People Care

The Farm Bill is massive. Billions of dollars are at stake. That’s why so many groups are fighting to influence it.

Big farm companies want stronger subsidies to keep their profits steady. Nutrition groups want to protect food programs that help low-income households. Conservation advocates want more funding to protect land, water, and wildlife.

Trade groups also want rules that make it easier for American crops to be sold overseas.

Because the bill is so broad, it sparks heavy lobbying and a lot of backroom negotiations in Washington.

Why It Matters to You

Even if you’ve never stepped on a farm, the Farm Bill touches your life.

It influences grocery prices, shaping which foods are cheaper at the store.

It decides who gets food assistance and how much.

It funds environmental programs that impact the health of land and water across the country.

And it provides support for rural communities, many of which depend on these programs for survival.

In short, this bill helps decide what’s on your dinner plate, how much it costs, and how the land that grows it is treated.

The Bottom Line

The 2025 Farm Bill is more than just farm talk in Washington. It’s about food, money, and the future of America’s farmland.

Whether it ends up focusing more on farmers, families, or conservation will depend on how the debates in Congress play out.

One thing is certain: the Farm Bill is going to be one of the biggest political fights of the year.

,

Imagine your family has a piggy bank. Every time your parents get money, they put some in, but they also have to take money out to pay for groceries, the electric bill, and gas. Now imagine they promise you they’ll never let the piggy bank run completely empty. That “promise” is kind of like America’s debt ceiling.

The debt ceiling is the maximum amount of money the U.S. government is allowed to borrow so it can keep paying for important things like schools, roads, the military, and even your grandparents’ Social Security checks.

Why Is Everyone Arguing?

Right now, in 2025, the “piggy bank lid” (the debt ceiling) is back on. Some leaders, mostly from the GOP (the Republican Party), say:
👉 “Okay, we’ll raise the lid higher, but only if we also cut back on spending by a LOT—like $2.5 trillion dollars!”

Other leaders think cutting that much money could hurt people who rely on the government for help, like families who need food assistance or hospitals that get funding.

It’s like when you want a bigger allowance, but your parents say, “Only if you promise to do extra chores and spend less on video games.”

What Happens If They Don’t Decide?

If leaders can’t agree by the summer, the U.S. could run out of money to pay bills. That would be a big problem not just here, but all around the world, because other countries depend on America’s money system too.

Think of it like this: if the biggest kid on the block suddenly stopped paying for the pizza they ordered, the whole party would get messed up!

What’s Next?

There’s also something called appropriations—that’s just a fancy word for deciding how the money gets divided. Leaders have until March 14 to figure that out. If they don’t, the government could shut down for a while (like when your favorite park is closed for repairs).

Here are some examples of where the money could go:

  • Defense: paying for the military to keep the country safe.

  • Health care: helping doctors and hospitals.

  • Energy: making sure we have power for homes, schools, and video games.

  • Social programs: helping families who need extra support.

But if they can’t agree? They’ll have to use a stopgap measure—that’s like putting duct tape on a broken toy. It works for now, but it’s not a real fix.

The Lobbyists (a.k.a. The Whisperers)

There are also special people called lobbyists. They don’t make the laws, but they try to influence lawmakers. For example:

  • A defense company might say, “Please give us more money for airplanes.”

  • A hospital group might say, “Don’t cut our funding—we need to help patients.”

It’s like when kids at school try to convince the teacher to pick their idea for recess.

Lots of countries depend on America in different ways, kind of like how kids in a classroom depend on each other to share supplies or trade snacks. Here are some big examples:

1. Money & Trade

  • Many countries trade with the U.S. for things like food, clothes, technology, and airplanes.

  • The U.S. dollar is often used as the “world’s money.” Even when two other countries trade (like Brazil and Japan), sometimes they use U.S. dollars because it’s trusted everywhere.

2. Defense & Safety

  • Countries in groups like NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) depend on America’s military strength to help keep them safe if trouble starts.

3. Energy & Resources

  • Countries buy oil, gas, and other resources from the U.S.

  • The U.S. also buys from them, so it goes both ways.

4. Health & Aid

  • In emergencies (like earthquakes or hurricanes), America often sends money, food, or doctors to help.

  • Poorer countries sometimes rely on U.S. aid programs to build schools, hospitals, or get clean water.

5. Global Stability

  • Because America’s economy is one of the biggest in the world, if it has money problems, other countries feel it too.

    • Example: If America can’t pay its bills, other countries might lose money they invested in U.S. banks or government bonds.

    • It’s like if the kid who brings the ball to recess suddenly can’t play—everyone’s game gets messed up.

🌍 Some countries that especially depend on the U.S. include:

  • Mexico & Canada (because they’re neighbors and trade partners).

  • China (sells tons of goods to the U.S. and also holds U.S. debt).

  • Japan & South Korea (trade + military protection).

  • European countries like Germany, France, and the U.K. (trade + NATO defense).

💡 The Big Lesson: The debt ceiling fight is really about how America chooses to spend its money. Should we spend less and save more, or keep spending to make sure everyone’s needs are met? Leaders are still arguing, but one thing’s for sure: just like in your family, tough money choices affect everyone in the house

For the first time in decades, the world’s biggest sporting event is making its way back to American soil. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with the majority of matches being played in cities across the U.S. For soccer fans and casual spectators alike, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the beautiful game at its peak—right here at home.

Why This World Cup Is Different

This won’t be your typical tournament. FIFA has expanded the format to include 48 teams instead of 32, making it the largest World Cup ever. More countries, more matches, and more drama. That means more opportunities for fans in the U.S. to experience soccer like never before.

The Cities Hosting the Matches

A dozen U.S. cities have been selected to host matches, stretching from coast to coast. Imagine the electric atmosphere of New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, and Kansas City all coming alive with World Cup fever. Each city will showcase its own culture, flavor, and stadium atmosphere to the world.

What This Means for the U.S.

While soccer is already the world’s most popular sport, in the U.S. it has always played second (or third) fiddle to football, basketball, and baseball. Hosting the World Cup again—32 years after the landmark 1994 tournament—could push soccer into the spotlight in a way we’ve never seen before. Expect stadiums filled with international fans, streets lined with watch parties, and a new generation of American kids inspired to dream big with the sport.

Economic and Cultural Impact

Beyond the sport itself, the World Cup is a cultural festival. Millions of visitors are expected to travel across North America, filling hotels, restaurants, and local businesses. The tournament could inject billions of dollars into the U.S. economy, while giving cities global visibility. From cultural exchanges to international networking, the impact will extend far beyond the pitch.

Why You Should Be Excited

Whether you’re a lifelong soccer supporter or someone who just tunes in every four years, the World Cup is about more than goals and trophies—it’s about unity. For a month, the world comes together, rivalries are celebrated, and history is made. And this time, the action is happening in our backyard.

The countdown is officially on. In 2026, the United States won’t just be hosting matches—it will be hosting the world. The energy, excitement, and spirit of the World Cup will transform American cities and hearts alike. Get ready, because the world’s game is coming home to the USA.

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Judge Frank Caprio—a man whose gentle spirit and profound sense of justice touched millions across the globe.

Today here at my home in the prophetic residence we are mourning the loss of such a giant of juice. My husband the Archbishop wants everyone to please pray for him and the family.

Judge Frank Caprio, a man whose unorthodox approach to justice touched the lives of countless people around the world. His passing is not only sad news for the legal community, but also for every person who believes compassion and mercy have a place in the courtroom.

Judge Caprio was known for blending fairness with humanity. While he never compromised the importance of following the law, he also understood that life is complicated and that people make mistakes. Instead of crushing individuals under the weight of their errors, he often sought to uplift them, giving many a second chance. In doing so, he showed us all that true justice is not about punishment alone—it is about understanding, empathy, and restoring dignity.

Here at the Prophetic Residence, his death has deeply saddened us. Today, we collectively paused, reflecting in silence on the life of a man who showed that justice could be kind. Judge Caprio reminded the world that compassion is not weakness, but strength—that justice is at its best when tempered with mercy.

He will be missed, but his legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched, the hope he restored, and the standard he set for what justice could be. May we all learn from his example and carry his spirit of fairness and compassion into the spaces we occupy.

Rest well, Judge Caprio. Your work here was not in vain.

Xoxo,

 Dr. Jordan, CHWO

Washington, D.C. has been grappling with an alarming surge in violent crime and unrest, prompting decisive action from the federal government. In response to the escalating dangers facing the nation’s capital, President Donald Trump has pledged to restore law and order and make Washington, D.C. safe again.

The city has seen a sharp increase in shootings, robberies, and violent offenses that have left residents and visitors feeling vulnerable. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Trump administration has deployed the National Guard to assist local law enforcement in combating crime and ensuring public safety.

In a groundbreaking move, federal authorities have also been granted direct control over the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. This shift allows for a more coordinated and robust response to the crisis, ensuring that officers have the resources, authority, and support needed to protect the city effectively.

President Trump’s firm stance reflects his commitment to cracking down on criminal activity and supporting the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep communities safe. By strengthening federal involvement and mobilizing the National Guard, the administration aims to bring peace and security back to the capital — a city symbolic of America’s strength and values.

As the National Guard takes to the streets alongside local police, the message is clear: Washington, D.C. will no longer tolerate lawlessness. This decisive action marks a turning point in the city’s fight against crime and demonstrates the federal government’s dedication to protecting all citizens, ensuring that safety and order prevail once again.

President Trump has officially ordered a new U.S. Census that will exclude undocumented immigrants from the population count. This policy change marks a significant shift from previous censuses that counted all residents regardless of immigration status.

What the New Census Policy Entails

Under the new directive:

  • Only citizens and legal residents will be included in the official population totals.

  • Undocumented immigrants residing in the United States will not be counted in the census data.

  • This change affects the calculation of congressional representation, federal funding allocations, and demographic statistics.

Why This Is Important: Impact on Political Representation and Funding

By excluding undocumented immigrants:

  • States and districts with large undocumented populations may see adjusted population figures that could affect the number of seats they hold in Congress.

  • Federal funds distributed based on census data — for programs like healthcare, education, and infrastructure — will be allocated based on the revised population counts.

Administration’s Position

The Trump administration emphasizes that this policy ensures that census data reflects the legal resident populationonly. Officials say the change brings greater accuracy to how the country measures its population for political and budgetary decisions.

What’s Next?

The Census Bureau is preparing to implement these changes in upcoming data collection and reporting. Further details and guidelines are expected as the new census process unfolds.

President Trump’s order to exclude undocumented immigrants from the census is a clear policy shift focused on counting only legal residents. This new approach will affect political representation and funding formulas, reflecting the administration’s priorities in population measurement.
